The transparent static dissipative EUROPLEX® glazings out of premium quality polycarbonate are especially designed to prevent electrostatic discharge events (ESD protection).

EUROPLEX® ESD glazings dissipate electric charges against earth in a controlled way. As a result  electrical components and modules handled in the electronic and semiconductor industry are effectively protected against negative impacts of electrostatic discharge events.

In explosive atmospheres static electricity causes fire and explosions due to spark formation. Properly grounded the use of EUROPLEX® ESD glazings safeguard industrial facilities against explosion.

EUROPLEX® EC

is being discontinued and will be replaced by EUROPLEX® SDX or
SDX-F.
